Transfer iphone 6s imessages and text messages to macbook pro app?

I want to transfer all of my imessages and text messages from my iphone 6s to my macbook pro messages app. My iphone 6s currently is running on iOS 9.3.1. My macbook pro is OS X Yosemite, Version 10.10.5. I just like having my messages on two places if anyone has other suggestions. I really would like to have all of my messages on my messages app on my laptop.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Well, do you want your previous messages on there? Or, do you just want all of the new ones? Unfortunately, I have not yet found a way to put old messages onto a Mac--only new incoming/outgoing ones. To communicate with anyone using iMessage trough your Mac, just sign in with your Apple ID. If you want it to also have SMS, able to text message any phone number, go into your iPhone' s settings app and click messges>text message forwarding and press the switch next to your Mac, then put the numbers you see on your Mac's screen if you have iMessage open on Mac.

You can if you configure your iPhone correctly.

(Note: only the newer iMessages will appear on both after the configuration)

iPhone's Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding > select your Mac here.

On Mac, check Messages/Preferences/Accounts and make sure enable this account is checked.

(Note: You need to use the same Apple ID on iPhone and Mac)

Hi,

As has been said it cannot be done.

The Server pushes the iMessages to the Registered Devices (at that time) and deletes the iMessages from the server when the device(s) have received them.

Adding a New device will not get any Old iMessages (it is not like Mail if you use IMAP or set your Mail app to leave stuff on a POP sever when Fetching.)

There are utilities that can look at a Backup of your iPhone from iTunes and extract some files.

You could then store these on the Mac (on the basis it has more storage space) but they still cannot be imported in to Messages.
